The thyroid is almost always compromised in these conditions, and quite frequently oral pathology is one of the major contributors to the disease, if not the strongest.
Regarding the organification of iodine. In order for iodine to work in the cell, it requires ATP, and in some patients, especially those with CFIDS or Fibromyagia who have depressed energy levels, the iodine may not work in a subset of patients unless they take orthomolecular doses of B2 and B3.
Gotcha. Fighting (and winning) the CFIDS battle currently... any other resources you could post or send along would be appreciated as well.

When you say oral pathology you are referring to root canals or mercury fillings?

Just saw that a capsule inside a bottle of krill oil popped, so now there is this paste of oil and wad covering the rest of the capsules.....should I wash them all now or shortly before eating, or should I throw them away?

Re: Immortal Hair (Ortho Nutrition) Supplement Line [How to Order]
action<reaction - The right form of B12 can make the difference for some cases (Methyl B12).
The key with CFIDS is to get a very thorough medical work up, so that all of the factors can be identified.
For example have you checked for a hypercoagulable state, which is a variation of Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome?
This is an important factor, overlooked by conventional medicine. A Hemex Lab ISAC panel (for coagulation defects) can be used to rule this out.
scottyc33 - Oral pathology meaning, cavitations (holes in the jawbone from where extracted teeth came from), root canals and infection crowns. Mercury just makes it worse.
pancacke - Would wash the others off.

Thanks CS. Should I rely on this test as given by a regular physician? either way I'd run the results by you I guess.
Any other tests or results I could run by you?
Thank you, very much.

A > R - You're right. A conventional test for standard coagulation typically will reveal no abnormalities, since it only assesses the risk of actual clotting. The ISAC panel is 10 to 20 times more sensitive.

I'm going to look into this as far as I have to to assure efficiency. Seems even if I have this it's being classified as an Auto-immune result.

Yo nid, when will the decalcify products of yours be released? I'm running out of vitamin k and don't know if I should wait with ordering more!? By the way, will the formula contain D3?

Hi,
Decalcify has been released, I received an email from Nid today. If you check out the first page of this thread, it has been updated to include the Decalcify supplement. I am looking forward to ordering it at the end of this month.

CS - With the decalcify product, was there any reason you didn't include some copper in there to balance out the zinc? like an 8:1 ratio?

Silver--
Risk of overdose. Copper is found quite readily in diet and multivitamins, so we didn't want to risk giving people too much. I believe 3 mg is the recommended amount per day. Even the Zinc is a lower dosage than you would find in your typical Zinc Orotate bottle for this very reason. The K2, Mag, and Potassium, however, there is no legitimate risk of overdosage on.

Nid - I guess I was more thinking about the folks that don't take a multivitamin and have shithouse diets, but still if one is getting plenty of copper from their "healthy" diets and multivitamins, they would also be getting enough or close to enough zinc i would assume.
Supplementing zinc at 60mg a day(as far as I understand) will in the long term start to drain copper levels unless there is atleast a 10:1 ratio.

Silverlin--
That also varies as well. 60 mg of Zinc per day is fine for your average joe, but if you're active in athletics, that amount should increase significantly. For example, a few hundred milligrams for bodybuilders. A pretty big issue with zinc supplementation is that it's not ready absorbed through the cell membrane, whereas orotate exceeds in this area. Here is a good blog entry on the topic of Zinc Orotate vs. other forms:

CS,
You added "Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C (for short term-term detoxification)" to your regimen recently. What does it detox, lead? For how long should we use this?

Re: Immortal Hair (Ortho Nutrition) Supplement Line [How to Order]
pancacke - Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C is purportedly as effective as 50 grams of Vitamin C intravenously (that is if you take a few packets of it at once). It will raise glutathione levels and allow to very effective detoxification.
If you're performing a metal detoxification or have had a dental visit, it's a good treatment.

Re: Immortal Hair (Ortho Nutrition) Supplement Line [How to Order]
Thanks CS,
Sounds like a next level supplement, description on iherb reads very well also. Never had dental problems, but need to start serious detoxing sometime in the near future with mercury being top priority.
I heard one should take vitamin c like triphala while using andy cutler protocol so Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C could be used I guess.

pancacke - The cutler protocol is not without some flaws.
There are two other options for mercury removal, which are probably better.
(1) OSR https://www.ctiscience.com/CTIScience/OrderConsumers.do
Or
(2) Humifulvate with iodine.

Don't know how well iodine/humifulvate works on the brain, does it cross the blood-brain barrier?
What's the downside of cutler protocol besides getting up at night to take the supps?

Nid - I was under the impression that higher copper levels are required in proportion to ones intake of zinc, keeping a consistent ratio of about 10:1 zinc to copper.
Am I mistaken?

Humifulvate works to remove metals from the brain, but I do not believe it crosses the blood-brain barrier.
The downside of cutler protocol is that DMSA does not bind tightly enough and leaves residual mercury (the patient often feels terrible). Everyone is different and it works well for many.

Is this a positive or negative thing? What is the significance of not crossing the bbb?

tooyoung - It might not matter, because a study on pigs demonstrated that humifulvate removed 87% of the mercury in their brains in a relatively short period.
The B-B-Barrier is there to protect against unwanted stuff getting in, but there are various things that can protect it.

Caustic Symmetry
Question for you,
I've been going through a prolonged shed. Started over 2 months ago and I'm still trying to control it.
Current regimen is Maxi Hair 2x a day, Mega Multi 2x a day, Vitamin C 2x, and Toco 8 1x also ACV w/ honey between 2-4 tbsps. per day.
I had been using the curc/res combo from Jarrow for a little over a year, I'm pretty sure the curcumin had caused my hair to start shedding. I would stay off it for a few days and have the shed slow. When I went back on it a few times. Major fall-out the next day in the shower, between 50-100 hairs. Horrible
Question is, do you believe using the IH 6 combo minus the curc to give a benefit?
I'm pretty scared to ever touch the curc again. I'm thinking something changed internally, because I had been able to tolerate for about a year before the shedding started.
My hair has become thin and unhealthy looking over the past 2 months. Hoping something can reverse this and get something back.
I'm also doing a metal cleanse now, so this will hopefully let me start fresh.
any suggestions welcome.
Thank You
