What do you think about magnesium bound to l-taurine? Is it as good as taking magnesium orotate and taurine seperatly?

Also how does Swanson's Albion Chelated Magnesium compare to other types of magnesium?

j87x - Mag Taurinate is good. I've used it many times. Albion Chelated Magnesium is very decent. Magnesium Orotate is the best, these are still very good.

CS

Supplement Facts
Serving Size: 3 Capsules
Servings per Container: 60
Amount Per Serving % Daily Value
Magnesium (as magnesium taurinate) 250 mg 63%
L-Taurine (as magnesium taurinate) 2672 mg *

This is a NSI brand. Taking 3 caps a day, does it cover the 1000 mg of taurine in your regimen? Or is it too much dosage of taurine? Thanks

GoodThings - No that's sounds pretty good. Not too much at all. That's a nice amount of Taurine.

I've switched to this: magnesium glycinate:

It delivers the same benefits I associate with magnesium with no intestinal upset: loose stool.

Haven't researched it; just picked it up upon recommendation at WF's when I found out that the didn't carry the KAL orotate version I had been using.

I'm on my second bottle.

Highly recommend.

Gibson-I'll try that next after taurinate. I'm amazed people are able to tell the difference between magnesiums. How do i tell? I want to be an expert. Very Happy

Goodthings:

Not sure what u are aiming at.

The most prevalent indicator, in my case, are my fingernails: Magnesium makes them stronger: without it they are weak.

The negative to taking magnesium orally, in my case, is a resulting loose stool, which may be a benefit for others: however, orotate and glycinate don't have that side effect, for me. glycinate I prefer by measure mainly of nail strength and a couple other factors I don't give a shit to explain.

Ya dig.

That said, you should endeavor to figure out how magnesium supps affect you!
