Immortal, would you recommend anything specific for these hormone results?
I am a youngin (23) with aggressive temple loss. The rest of the hair is nice n' thick and great, but the temples, nope! Fortunately things seem to be turning around with a bit of an adapted version of your top 6 (top 6 + GTE + brewers + Taurine, K) plus laser plus a few other things (more health related than hair.... Liv 52, triphala, digestive bitters, etc), I have already had some regrowth for sure but can't tell if there's still recession going on at the very back of the temples. Anyhow just got these results from blood spot test, would you recommend anything specific?:
E2: 39 ref. (12-56)
T: 632 (400-1200)
SHBG: 27 (15-50)
Ratio: T/SHBG: 0.8 (0.7-1.0)
DHEAS: 311 (70-325)
Cortisol morning: 33.2 H (6-13)
hsCRP: 5.0 H (< 3)
Obviously the Cortisol and CRP are high, ouch! I have started taking sensoril, and have take it before, but not at the time of this test. My diet was admittingly not good at the time of the blood draw so the CRP is prob a little higher than usual.
I was thinking, maybe HMR + a bit of borage oil? Seems I could use a little more T and a little less E2, while keeping a cap on dht.

Ryan - Interesting lab results. For some years I have a long standing hypothesis that temple recession is deeply impacted by neutrotrophins and possibly excess cortisol release. Have you tried the Curcumin/Resveratrol combo for the neurogenic inflammation angle?
How long ago was the test? Have you been using the kefir for a while or just recently?

I'm trying to come understand why some people only seem to have temple recession aswell. The rest of my hair is thick and fantastic but my temples are receding slowly, I get a zapping/itching feeling on there and I'm really starting to think it happens because of stress.
Your theory makes alot of sense CS!

Hmm, interesting!
Immortal- The test was a couple months ago. I have been on kefir for about 2 years now, and more recently I have incorporated a wide variety of pickled veggies, miso, natto, etc into my diet. I have taken the curcumin/res combo but only in the form of Turmeric Force and a couple of french wine extract caps. May not be potent enough.... I think I will up my game and get the BCM-95 and some real resveratrol. But yeah, I would def say that I have had more stress in my life than the average guy my age, so your theory may well be correct.
NrwgnKID-sensoril is a patented Ashswaganda extract. Among other things, Ash normalizes cortisol, brings it down if too high and up if too low. I feel it helps quite a bit.

What kind of test do you ask for to get this checked? And should you ask your GP or dermatolagist?

CS why do you feel it's significant...
to take Resvertrol and Curcumin together? Is there a synergistic effect from doing so? When do you recommend taking together? In the morning before breakfast? Thanks in advance.

Jocko59 - When both Curcumin & Resveratrol are taken together, they are synergistic in one particular area. They serve to block the CB1 receptor, which attenuates neurogenic inflammation (neuropeptides with inflammatory effects). Apart from that, they also have their own respect qualities. Here's an abstract pointing towards this action mentioned above:

Member The Natural has been using this combo the longest here, as for me I've been using taking the combination during my largest meal, which for me happens to be lunch. It may not matter when it is taken.
