Re: IMMORTAL VETS/CS help me I have lab results
Curious dude, as you seem to have elevated ZINC and Estradiol 2 things I had on my lastest blood test. Do you take ZINC or not and in what form?

Re: IMMORTAL VETS/CS help me I have lab results
Testosterone should be higher
SHBG on low side (common in balding men)
Ferritin 170 is too high, should around 60-80
Keep an eye on Thyroglobulin and Peroxidase antibodies for Hashimotos (don't have lab values, unsure?)
DHT OK even a bit low
TSH 1.302 and coupled with other labs, thyroid likely OK
No unit value for Vitamin D, assuming ng/mL - perfect, assuming nmol/L, barely adequate

How do you raise shbg? How do you lower Ferritin? Peroxidase was 18 and Thyroglobulin was a 20. "No unit for Vitamin D"?? I just take it but I do not go outside.

@ BrodjeQuestion
I was taking Zinc and took even more bc they told me over phone I was low. Now I don't take it though. I use Zinc Glycinate.
@TNT
I am 26 years old
Mainly, I want to stop this hair loss. It is rapid hair loss. I am underweight so that is the problem for sure. What do I do? I have a ton of high quality vitamins she has me on. However I am not on iodine. CS where are you?!

You lower ferritin by donating blood.

Re: IMMORTAL VETS/CS help me I have lab results
young trunks - Certainly a lot happening with your lab tests....
Some of the advice already mentioned (SHBG), Ferritin and others need attention.
The problem is, that and more cannot be condensed so easily. In my experience medical history is 90% of
everything. There's more on those lab tests too that are curious.
So there's definitely some modifiable things that can be done to get that inflammation sorted.

I take the following:
Undenatured whey
Vitamin B
Vitamin C
Vitamin D
Magnesium
Curcumin
Krill Oil
Coconut Oil
Multi Enzyme
Probiotic
L Argintine
She wants me to avoid gluten but I lost even more weight and I'm already under weight. I avoid milk and cheese as much as possible too. Do I need to take iodine? When I asked her she said to slowly implement it into regimen if at all...I'm so confused

I mean that there are no measurement units listed for the Vitamin D result. Two are commonly used, ng/mL and nmol/L, and a value of 50 could be good or bad depending on which was used in the test.
Lower ferritin by donating blood, eating less iron rich foods, don't take vitamin C close to iron rich meals.
Not sure on the SHBG myself yet. The antibody results are good so far but I don't know what the cut-off values are for being marked "positive" as Hashimotos so depending on how close you are to the cutoff you might want to keep an eye on those.

The ng/mL was used for the testing.
Not sure on the SHBG myself yet. Seems like flaxeed, greentea, and exercise raises SHBG. And avoiding wheat bc it decreases it? I think, not certain.

Re: IMMORTAL VETS/CS help me I have lab results
young trunks - It's real difficult to say exactly (without medical history), however I'll say this:
A specific diet is never appropriate for everyone, meaning that some of the foods you are told to avoid, might actually help you (with consideration to its quality/form/lack of processing).
Also, questions come to mind such as, why the L-Arginine? For some it can be a problem. There are likely to be some things you can subtact, some things you can replace with for better performance (less inflammation).

At 50 ng/mL that is an ideal level, in my opinion (I have that much too). You should try to find a dose that will maintain you at this level now.

That is true.. However this doctor is a holistic doctor and the regimen that she presented to me is based on "my" bio chemistry. I added the L-Arginine myself for libido.

Re: IMMORTAL VETS/CS help me I have lab results
Based on my lab results:
Should I jump on IH top 6?
Consultation + IH top 6?
Stick with my holistic doctor?
Some other method that you may know?
The goal is to stop rapid hair fall. Holistic doctor is focused on my gut.
I start school Monday and college is expensive.
