Probiotics
Is a multi-strain probiotic something that should be continually used or would eventually the intestinal flora that's been introduced be able to replenish itself sufficiently to where a probiotic could just be used intermittently with no decrease in health?

Probably depends on how much herbicide, glyphosate, artificial sweeteners and other anti-biotic like substances are ingested in our food supply.

Thanks CS. Are there any particular probiotics you think are a good addition to a standard pro-health and pro-hair regimen?
This was the last probiotic I purchased:
http://iherb.com/pr/innovixlabs-multi-strain-probiotic-50-billion-60-capsules/94913
Not really knowing anything about probiotics I figured I'd switch things up a bit and try out a "the bigger, the better" type of probiotic.

That's exactly one of the four I use, however when it comes down to selecting these probiotics, it's very much a trial and error situation. This is because microbiomes and/or enterotypes are different.
Speaking for myself, I tend to be an indulging type, hence a semi "have your cake and eat it too." however as I have become older, some of what was easily skated by, I had to make some personal sacrifices on the sort of vices or "fixes."
So if I were to indulge in pastries, desserts, that sort of thing, I will use various types of sweeteners, such as Trehalose, Allulose, Xylitol, Erythritol (with monk-fruit) and each of these types have various advantages or disadvantages.
That said, besides allowing safe-indulges, they are a plus for the microbiome. However, not everything I do is safe and I eat out a lot, so there's a plenty of garbage I am sure that is being tossed in along the way.
This one I am a fan of which has been garnering a lot of attention. Mainly for having a positive effect on metabolism and glucose modulation and more.

Re: Probiotics
If you don't mind my asking CS, what is the other multi-strain probiotic that you are using these days in addition to the one from InnovixLabs?

Currently 20% off:

The idea with this one is to allow some "cheating" here and there.
