Topical Melatonin?
Saw some chatter on tressless about the use of topical melatonin. anyone try this? I'm not sure there's a solid reason why this might be effective though.

Re: Topical Melatonin?
Never heard much about it. Reminds me of topical iodine. They all seem to fall by the wayside after a while. But it would be cheap to make a solution yourself and try it. There's a sleep aid called "dream water" you can get almost anywhere. It's a small bottle of liquid that contains melatonin, 5-htp and GABA. I'm thinking of rubbing that on my head if nothing else works.

Re: Topical Melatonin?
No idea if anyone has tried it, but be sure to read the literature on it. Look at the materials and method section (it's not just Melatonin added).

I estimate at minimum at least 80% of those with AGA/MPB has issues with sleep/insomnia.

And results are not all that impressive. That said, topical melatonin is still a very valuable idea in the combo.

Re: Topical Melatonin?
I'm more interested in oral melatonin. Can it be a hair growth promoter ?
I discussed this earler in another thread, but I may have increased cholesterol levels and my sleep is not good(it hasn't been good for a long time). Is supplementing melatonin a good bet here ? Because I've read something about melatonin supplementation disrupting natural cycle of melatonin or something. Don't wanna break something e lse while I try to fix another.

That myth has gotten a lot of traction.
I've been taking Melatonin for years (highly recommended).
All these "smart devices" and electronic fields usually disrupt melatonin production.
Would suggest a small amount - like 1 milligram 1 hour before bed.

Sadly none of the Turkish brands sell melatonin apparently, a bit surprised. Found an import product in pill form and the lowest dose I could find was 5mg. Most others were 10mg.
Also I just watched this :
This is a doctor I follow on youtube and he underlines how important melatonin is and he clears a few misconceptions. The infrared bit is very interesting I must admit.
