Shockwave therapy for hair loss?
Saw this video and couple of weeks ago and was pretty fascinated by it given that it:
- Reduces inflammation
- Breaks up scar tissue
- Triggers angiogenesis, growth factors, etc
Let me know what you think. Seems like a possible alternative to dermarolling and detumescence.
EDIT: Can't post the video because I'm new, but the gentleman's name is Adam Field DC on YouTube. It's under the playlist HEALTH AND CARE PODCAST EPISODES titled "Shockwave Therapy ESWT & You? Health & Care Ep 11".

It would be interesting to find out if clinics offer this as a treatment for hair loss. But it doesn't seem to be the norm mostly for sport injuries.
However, are there are any good quality effective devices and affordable prices that can be purchase for in-home use and applied to ourselves?

In just a cursory glance online - it would appear so. They just vary in terms of shockwaves generated and the energy level associated.
Cost also doesn't look too prohibitive.
