PRP Therapy for hair loss? Empty PRP Therapy for hair loss?

So does anybody have any thoughts about PRP therapy for hair loss? I did a search and found nothing. The procedure runs for almost a grand and I hear mixed things about its efficacy. Some say it can reverse miniaturization and stop the balding process for a year, and others say it has no effect whatsoever. I must admit it's appealing to think that you could use the body's own regenerative process to dramatically impact hair loss.

I'm hopeful that some of the supplements I learned about through this site will help my hair, but I also would like to explore any options available to fight this condition. I'm approaching the point where I'd be willing to sprinkle minox on my head and shout, "the power of Christ compels you!" if I thought it would give me my hair back.

Thoughts on PRP, anyone?
