Re: welp, my hair is growing back
HILYB, thanks for the updates. 2 quick questions.
1) So just trying to clarify, you usually do around 1 hour sessions once a day? In that period you use your hands to press/pinch, as well as possibly other tools such as suitable rocks etc to break up tissue?
2) Did you scalp get sore when you first started doing DT? If so, would you still do a DT session the following day even if your scalp was still sore?
Thanks!

1) Yes
2) I never skip a day. The soreness will get better the looser your scalp gets and the more tissue is broken down.
Cheers

Re: welp, my hair is growing back
And when I say "when this is all said and done" I don't mean 2 months from now. I don't think 10 months is very realistic to get to nw1 from nw4. I'll probably do this for at LEAST another 2 years. Think of it in terms of a baby growing a full head of hair. First they have to have a brand new scalp and essentially we need to create a brand new healed flattened head, just like a baby. Takes many cycles but you'll get there.

I don't want no flattened head.

I agree Stress and anxiety are main causes of Hair loss. but you may go through other reasons of Hair loss which are as follows then decide are they not your's?
1. Water deficiency
2. Drink sewage water
3. Eat unhealthy or junk food
4. Use wrong hair products like shampoo, serum, conditioner, hair mask, wax, hair gel etc.
5. Suffering from a chronically disease such as Cancer, Thyroid and Diabetes etc.

Re: welp, my hair is growing back
hey everyone! haven't really been around much lately, hair just keeps slowly getting better and better so i don't really come on here much.
quick update: i'm at 10 months now for DT, and i've probably grown about 30% of the hair i had LOST back. i still have a ways to go yet, but my crown is almost completely filled in. i had a bald spot the size of a softball when i started manuals about a year and a half ago. that being said, hair keeps getting better, thicker, and my hairline continues to drop as my swollen head breaks down. once the crown fills in all the way then i see it all coming back very quickly. i've definitely gone back in time a few years as far as hair loss is concerned and i am NOT losing any more hair. it just keep regrowing, slowly but surely. this is a patience game. DT is the real deal if done correctly, you just have to be patient. best of luck to us all. i'm about nw3 now with light crown loss. i was nw4 when this started with massive diffuse and crown loss.
thanks again to you guys and this forum. couldn't have beat hair loss without you

From what you have experienced so far: Do you think you will eventually get to NW1 just by DT?
I started very recently and combine DT with Hagerty's scalp exercise. I feel it complements each other nicely.

yes that's right, when i first started DT i was just pressing, not a lot of pinching. NOW i do probably about 50/50 pinching and pressing, seems to work good. the goal is to just break up this tissue under your scalp, however you can do that...that's fine. pinching seems to work the best though, i just work around my head, all of it. temples, forehead, eyebrows, above my ears. this buildup is everywhere

i do, given enough time it has to happen. as the tissue under the scalp breaks down hair comes back... it's just how it works from what i've seen. so given enough time, enough work, enough break down. all my hair should come back
i feel any scalp massage or exercise is probably beneficial

But we dont usually lose hair above the ears.. Thats where we keep it.. If buildup is the problem, then why doesnt effect things negatively above the ears?

it does. some men have thinning all over. my hair thinned everywhere besides the very very back. even on the sides. you're not gonna go completely bald above your ears but it can thin out a bit, which it has for me. the thinning works from the top down

Why are you hating, bro? you did it wrong for months and you are probably still doing it wrong. And if it just doesn't work for you, well, that doesn't mean that it's not going to work for everyone else. You were an unlucky one, although I feel like that is not the case because the Botox study clearly shows a hundred percent success rate. So it must be due to your negligence. You are negligent here. Take responsibility and man up. Congratulate him, don't hate.

Get off your high horse already. Is he a NW1? No? He didn't cure hair loss.

If you're not a NW1, you cured nothing. What if it stops at NW2.5/3. Don't tell someone to piss off unless you actually cured it.

how haven't i? i've been getting regrowth for well over a year, and it's not slowing down. that's curing hair loss, no matter however you wanna twist it. this is why i don't come around this shithole anymore

Good to hear.
If you want to hyper speed the process and loose everything from the inside
try the beet juice with carrots, ginger, radish and lemon...Trust me man on this.
It will loosen up everything, that the tissue can break now easily.
