Immortal Hair Supplement past expiry date

I've still got some of Immortal and Nidges supplements. The expiry date is 03/13.
How long after the expiry date will they lose their potency?

It depends on what it is. If it is compromised of plant extracts, there is typically a degradation of a few percent per year.
If it is krill oil, then probably much shorter (not exactly certain). If it is compromised of minerals, then would last a little longer. Would be fine it is passes expiration in that case.

The expiration date is put on by the contract manufacturer due to FDA guidelines, however, it has absolutely nothing to do with the real expiration date. You're good to go.

I typically don't worry about expiration dates for any of my supps unless it's at least a year gone. Usually more, depending on what it is. Unless, as CS mentioned, it's fish oil, which degrades quickly. But even fish oil can go well past expiry if it's in the freezer. IMHO, anyway.
