Concerned about gyno
Recently I have become concerned about gyno.
I don't even know if I have it or not. It's difficult to say. I have never had sensitivity in the nip area nor any pain. How can I know if it is gyno?
The only supplement I have used that my cause this is the Nanogen Intervention Hair Loss pill which contained saw palmetto in it. But that very same pill contained other things which would counter the harmful effects of SP such as turmeric, zinc, green tea and magnesium. And I always took it with Maca pills.
So, could I have done this to myself? If it a very slight gyno, are my chances good in reversing it?

It can be easy to make the mistake of mixing up gyno and pseudo-gyno. How is your overall body fat? If you have a good deal of fat in the chest region, its going to make it more difficult to distinguish. Generally, with true gyno the growth occurs right beneath the nipple, and it is a spongy, rubbery growth. Take your thumb and index finger and place them across from one another just outside the edge of your nipple and pinch slightly. If you feel this type of rubbery growth right below the nipple it is probably gyno. It tends to also make the nipple appear puffy, as if someone blew it up with air. Pinching this region might also feel tender or elicit a dull pain. With pseudo-gyno what often happens is there is a general buildup of fat on the lower chest and on the sides of the chest. You might feel rubbery regions in the area beneath the nipple (but it will feel deeper down) but also in the fat on the side of the pectoral as you approach the armpit. These are just dense regions of fat. This is why it becomes difficult to distinguish if you have a lot of fat buildup on the chest. As you lose weight and lower body fat %, pseudo gyno will disappear. But with true gyno, even at a low body fat % you'll still see the ring of growth around the nipple. One way to tell would be to drop your body fat and see if the conditions disappears. If not, the only other way is to see a doctor who can confirm this, perhaps with a CT scan or some type of radiological imaging.
Unfortunately, with actual gyno, the only way to reverse it is to have it surgically removed. Try googling some images of gyno, and you'll see several pictures of guys who have obviously been using steroids (which can cause gyno). Their bodyfat is very low so it makes it easy to see the gyno. If your condition resembles this, then it probably is what you think it is.
