IH: Can dropping 7 hmr cause gyno?

IH, i recently had a gyno flare up (which is now in 'remission' with high does chasteberry) and the main change in my regimen i can attribute this to is having dropped 7hmrlignans for bio curcumin. Could this change have brought on the temp gyno or is it probably something else?
My last two brushes with gyno were fin (12 months ago) and PM (5 months ago), both non permanent..

7-HMR clearly inhibits estrogen. If gyno were an issue and 7-HMR worked, I'd stay on it. (I think it is the best estrogen inhibitor--I thought I got aggressive on DIM, but CS seems to favor it and there is compelling research pronouncing its health benefits.) Once Gyno is in check, you can cut back the 7-HMR. Also you don't have to take 40 mg each dose. You could easily take half a capsule, or less. Dosing is part of the puzzle.

slowbutspeeding - Tough call, and maybe Gibson's theory is right. Although Curcumin is considered to be a potent anti-gyno herb because it potently blocks the negative effects of Estradiol in breast tissue. But also 7-HMR is good for this too, so hard to say. Before 7-HMR was available I used to suggest people with gyno to use flax seed + curcumin, but now it would be 7-HMR plus curcumin.

Does anyone know if there is an alternative to the Swansons available on Iherb? I took a look and i couldnt find anything as explicit as stating is was a "7hmr supplement."

Sadly this is one of the cheaper options on iherb, which isn't saying much.
