Once the mercury filling is removed, what is the material used for the dental fillings. What is it called? Is there any best material?

Is there potential to get poisoned during the removal?

They're replaced with composite material. Got to be careful there too, most of them leak BPA.

Yes, it can be a tricky thing removing amalgam. You might want to read up on the Cutler protocol, also Hal Huggins. Curezone would be a good place to research this.
