Resveratrol Alternative

I cannot take resveratrol, at least for the time being as it really aggravates my joint pain and I don't know why either. Any recommedations for alternatives?

Have you tried Biotivia's TransMax resveratrol. I though my joint health improved from it.

That said, these days i take PteroMax by biotivia, which I find to be superior. Biotivia also make a pterostilibene only supplement called PteroActiv. In general, pterostilibene is more effective than resveratrol IMO.

In an attampt to save a buck, I have also used the PteroPure branded extract branded by Jarrow and Swansons. Both I found to be significantly inferior to Biotivia's PteroMax.

There may be a potential bad side effect from the pterostilibene. I just dropped pteromax after using it consistently since it came out. If what I suspect to be true, I will know soon. I can say I did experience a worse side from pteropure than pteromax. But like I said, I am still sussing it out.

Whats the potential bad side effect?

What dose were you taking? I noticed joint issues at more than 300mg per day, but taking 200mg per day I have been fine.

Taking 400mg, 50% trans resveratrol. The same one immortal links on his regimen page.
