Re: Grow New Hair! (The original Papilla Power??)
PP changed his policy 3 days ago where he requires a donation ( http://www.papillapower.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=428 )
So this a bit of a kick in the bollocks for him

Excellent point
To take that one step further MG, If I'm not mistaken, Minoxidil and Rogaine, were never originally developed as a cure for MPB in the first place. Hair growth happened to be a side-effect. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one. It's amazing how so many people still think that government bodies such as the FDA are there to protect them. Now we all know that smoking and junk food kills people by the million, and entire economies are collapsing under the burden of the health care costs associated with both. But I can still step outside and buy a pack of smokes. Then I can whip up a baloney (nitrate, nitrite) sandwich on a couple slices of Wonderbread (zero nutritional value).
Evidently, PP has helped many people in this forum to understand hair loss and hair growth in a whole new way, and provoke serious discussion about scalp circulation. For that, his thread gets locked and he gets banned. Weird.

MikeGore wrote:The fact is, even if this is the "silver bullet" so to speak, would anyone even have taken the time or effort to know about it, if it wasn't for PP?
I completely agree with this. If it wasn't for Papilla Power, no one would take notice of this. Certainly no one would go to look for something that disappeared in the 80s. The only reason that it is given importance now, is because PP gave it importance and we have seen people getting results with this method. PP has admirably stated in his posts that he won't charge for this method, and that he would ONLY accept donations IF it worked for them also. After all, he did write a thesis, and there is nothing wrong in wanting to protect something written. People have to be feeling pretty dumb and ashamed right now, because I remember a lot of people ridiculing blood circulation theory before, and repeatedly like brainwashed imbeciles stating things like "propecia and minoxidil are the only FDA approved treatments for hair loss that works" blah blah blah. I'm not specifically referring to this forum, but a lot of other hair loss forums had this tone to it.
People should really learn that the FDA's seal of approval doesn't mean anything. They have to learn that the FDA isn't like some kind of charity organization dedicated to the well being of mankind. People have this idea that officialism always means something works or is safe, and poor people even think that buying non-FDA approved products is foolish. What idiocy; waiting for government to give them their answers. Who came up with this non-sense, waiting for money obsessed corporations to approve something, what a ton of baloney. If something doesn't allow them to accumulate more of their precious piece of paper which has hypnotized the masses, they do not approve it. Plain and simple.

I don't know what method is in the book. But PP's current method i believe is different. The principle might be the same, but i believe his current method is far superior.

Re: Grow New Hair! (The original Papilla Power??)
PP stated that he has improved on the method. Perhaps PP developed his own technique which is far more superior. This is just speculation on my part. But i can tell you that the 2 months i am on PP's method, new tiny dark hairs are coming out of my temples. And i don't mean just one or two, i mean a whole bunch.Columbo wrote:GoodThings wrote:wildman wrote:The method itself may not be his, but Papilla Power IS very much his. I'm curious as to what PP's end goal is. I cant see how he will ever make money from it, so what's tge point in delaying everyone finding out?

Sometimes, it's not about money. It's getting to the truth.

The link works, there are just too many download buttons popping up, not knowing which to choose from.
It appears once you press the skip ad button on the upper right corner.
You then click "Click here to start download from sendspace" on the new page that appears.

I got a PM requesting the file CS originally uploaded as Sendspace wasn't working for them or the link expired.
So if your browser is having trouble with Sendspace, try this link below. It should last 90 days.

Re: Grow New Hair! (The original Papilla Power??)
I didn't get the time yet to go thru this pdf thoroughly, but I skimmed it and the method seems to be just rubbing your scalp with a towel vigorously for 2-3 minutes a day. Did I miss something or is thats all there is to it?

are you rubbing a towel in your temple areas or are you just rubbing the temple areas and this is causing hair growth?

Re: Grow New Hair! (The original Papilla Power??)
Yeah the problem I have with PP is that he chose to clamber desperately for the money instead of doing the respectable thing IMO and just helping others with the information. IMO, hair loss is too horrible a thing for people to go through to try to make money off their misery with something like his method.
The book is interesting. Get me a good pdf and I'll just bung it on my offshore hosting server space

Clambering form Money
In my opinion, I don't think asking for donations is clambering for money at all. If PP's program does work,
what's wrong with asking for money in the form of donations? I mean, it is his time and effort, why is it so wrong to
ask for compensation for one's effort? Why do people feel that they are so entitled to get valuable information, for nothing?
PP himself said he paid thousands on products, hairpieces, lotions etc. that didn't work. If his method does work, then I think
it's well worth a small donation to know about the experiences that he went through and how he came to develop his method. Personally, I'm happy to make a donation just to hear his story. To me, it's quite fascinating.

Re: Grow New Hair! (The original Papilla Power??)
Wildman: completely agree with you.
When it comes to something like this, why is it we permit an entity like a business or corp to be so capitalistic, but when it comes to the individual, he/she is expected to do things for free in order to maintain some sense of humanity?
It makes no sense. When it comes to these kinds of issues, we need to consider the information given as a form of service and consider the opportunity cost. If you were to have performed the research (or spent the dollars) necessary to come to these types of solutions, you would have invested a great deal. He had an opportunity cost that could have been spent elsewhere had he not invested in producing this method. Why should he not see a return from this investment. You would have to pay to get this information from any business in the form of a product, so why can't an individual represent himself and his efforts?

I also don't have a problem with PP asking for donations. I signed an NDA and have been using his method for almost 2 months now. I have been seeing results as have others. I also find his story to be interesting and he has been very helpful as well.
