Multivitamin Empty Multivitamin

Post  bh1546 Fri Jan 13, 2012 2:26 pm

I take an organic multivitamin...it is a package of 4 diff pills. With all the pills combined it contains approximately 12500 ui of vitamin A. Is this too much? I take this multivitamin every other day. It also contains 150mcg of iodine which i thought couldn't hurt. Anyways ever since supplementing with 2000 ui of vitamin D my inflammation cause gone way down.

12,500IU is fine, toxicity usually happens when you get up around 100,000IU per day, though I'm assuming it's provitamin A? Some people have a problem with provitamin A but you can read all about it in a write-up CS did over at HealthyFixx.
