Re: My green tea, coconut topical and green juicing progress
Thinking green juices are even more important than topical, one without other won't do.complete treatment-internal and external. That's my point of view

I do wash my hair every day (with water), but I'm trying to not shampoo every day now. Or at least switch to an organic shampoo. I also spray a 50-50 apple cider vinegar-distilled water mix in the shower and rinse it off.
I thought I read that boiling anything at high heat destroys some of the vital nutrients.

Plus from experience all those oils on dry hair seem to increase the ammount of shedding in my case, the water application is so much cheaper too and suits my needs as it drys in about an hour so you can leave it on if you don't want to wash it off.
I'm also trying to understand why we mash all the ingredients together, add water, then strain it out. Why not just juice the whole thing and pour that on our heads?

Not really, no white hairs.
I use corriander leaves added to a mixture of ground corriander seeds, green tea, coconut oil, emu oil and castor oil.
I can't get hold of fresh corriander regularly so I have to freeze it and take some out to use for later days.

Well I tried soaking everything together in a pot without boiling, but then I tried with boiling and it seems that with boiling I get a darker mixture that actually smells a lot more like cilantro.
I will try it both ways, boiling and not boiling.

Re: My green tea, coconut topical and green juicing progress
I would not recommend boiling it, and if you still want to heat it up then just let it simmer so it wont reach the boiling point.
Regarding juicing the cucumber, celery and spinach mix definitely helps hair quality/thickening, and of course most importantly health.

Skip the oils, and just use water.

Hi Sage, i agree with your thoughts. Blending helped me in quality and thickening hair, even some new growth, better skin and health-seborrheic dermatitis is a nasty thing.
Interesting, I've got my wilfa blender from Sweden, from my uncle
Thanks for helping

Are you sure? I don't want to take out anything that could be helping.
What do you think is the most important ingredient?

Actually that's more or less what I do, I don't let it reach the boiling point, before it does, I remove it from the burner, add whatever I add to the water, then cover it and place it on a cool burner.
I'm going to start experimenting with other herbs like thyme and sage too, but I will keep your mixture as a separate one Sage.

Water penetrates the skin along with the herbs.
As said i did my trials end errors, and if you want to use oils then use them separately.

Thanks. Also I'm not able to get hold of the other herbs you mentioned (at least fresh ones).
Is green tea and coriander with water good enough?

The herbs coriander, rosemary and marjoram is quiet easy to grow by your own inside:
https://bonnieplants.com/library/how-to-grow-herbs-indoors/
I grow them outside during summer time, but I have the luxury to buy them in the grocery store during winter time.
But the ones you grow by your own has way more sent, and therefore probably more nutritious.
So in conclusion growing your own herbs is not hard at all, but we are even too lazy for that.
The most important herbs are coriander and marjoram.

Hi Sage,
Do you think that coriander oil, rosemary oil etc. will not be that useful to use then?
Instead of using the fresh ones - I was thinking that the concentration is much higher in these oils.
Is it proven that the water penetrates better than oil? Or something you have found out by your own trial-and-errors.
I also read that the essential oils are made by distillation - I wonder if this wouldn't cause most nutrition to be lost?

Sage, so you're thinking that oregano (marjoram) is more important than rosemary now? What made you come to this conclusion? Do you use it more often than the rosemary? Did you see quicker results or something?
Cheers

Re: My green tea, coconut topical and green juicing progress
Is there any reason I can't add my Sage and Thyme to your mixture Sage? I can keep your mixture separate and do it like you describe, but would it be ok to add those new herbs to it? Right now I'm experimenting with Thyme and Sage as a separate hairspray, I have yours stored in another bottle right next to it
I alternate both of them, mostly I use yours in the morning very heavily a few hours before I shower and keep reappling it as it dries, then after I shower I'm thinking I can use my Sage/Thyme mixture.
I really wish the smell would stay though, it disappears quickly. The spray in the bottle smells really nice, but after a minute or so of spraying it doesn't smell anymore.

If you break a leaf or take a bite of an apple for example, the oxidation (nutrition loss) progress starts immediately, and therefore you have to eat it directly before it gets bad.
So in conclusion you cannot extract or minimize anything fresh without loosing vital nutrients, and this is still pharma´s or the supplement industry biggest headache since they cannot copy and paste it.
Docent matter how concentrated oils are, since they already lost their nutrients during the process, and the same goes with other so called skin care products, the ingredient label looks nice though.

Does this mean that corriander brought in bunches, that is fresh, is still not good? As it will have been removed from the ground and isn't growing in a pot? Or is it ok until the leaves have started to be beaten about?

They are perfectly fine since they ate still intact.

Which "nutrients" are you referring to? Reason I ask is I'm just curious as to what parts of these herbs are necessary to fight hair loss.

Re: My green tea, coconut topical and green juicing progress
I'm going to join the band wagon as well. Been using the mixture with the three herbs + green tea for the last week. Currently using a coffee grinder, mixing the solution with water, then using a coffee filter to separate the herbs while I'm waiting for a replacement mortar and pestle. Not expecting results for 6 months given how the hair growth cycle works. Have noticed less itch and inflammation since starting which leaves me hopeful. Also taking 2 tea spoons of chlorella and 6 tablets of spirulina per day. Not too worried about Iron since I donate blood about every 56 days. Not rely sure If my hair loss condition is the same as others since I lost the majority of my hair during a 3 to 4 month period when I was 22 following the most stressful period of my life. Scalp just became inflamed and came out taking the hair with it leaving a rock hard, dry, dandruff infested wasteland. Maybe this will turn it around.

Is marjoram the same thing as oregano? And if all the ingredients are edible why don't you consume them? Doesn't it seem like if they help topically that eating them will also be beneficial?

Re: My green tea, coconut topical and green juicing progress
Hey Sage I know you use chlorella in your smoothies, I just found spirulina at a grocery store I shop at and am going to try experimenting with that, I used to take chlorella tablets from a good natural source, but haven't in awhile, so I'm just going to buy chlorella powder.
I know spirulina and chlorella aren't the same but I think they share some similar qualities, among them is heavy metal chelation.
I have never tried spirulina before, so I guess I'll start with a teaspoon or something.

Sage, do you know how long it took for the white vellus hairs to go terminal? What was the process? Did you grow the little white ones then they fell out then regrew as terminal or did they just sprout up from where they were and turn into thicker fully pigmented hairs?
