coconut oil a DHT inhibitor?
Sort of reminiscing about the past and different natural products that were supposed to suppress DHT. Saw palmetto, pumpkin seed oil, safflower oil, caffeine...there were quite a few. I just noticed that coconut oil, with all its fatty acid content, does the same and it was observed in animal trials. It has to be taken orally too. Which is better than rubbing it all over your scalp. I know someone who takes a teaspoon of it everyday to keep his brain sharp and he also has lots of hair. Maybe its worth a try?

Once someone gets acclimated to coconut oil (if they are taking in a tablespoon plus), will increase ketone bodies, which enhances cognitive functions.
Anyway, it's the lauric acid in the coconut oil that does most of the work on the "DHT" front, however only in vitro animal experiments.

It might work in humans, just nothing yet confirming it.
