In Dr Derry experiment with lugol's iodine,the induced by iodine hair were assumed to transport stem cells
(''regenate material'')to specific areas ,helping to the scar -wound healing process.

Its unlikely to say that hair are something useless.
I like to imagine that hair for human, is what is trees for earth.
Fungus attack our hair follicles and can develop in hair follicle's enviroment.
On the other hand ,we,humans,are the pathogens of earth ,attacking earth's hair(cutting the trees) while
knowing it is what gives us life oxygen .
