More likely its what mainstream is 'allowed' to talk about, rather than them 'catching on', the powers that be already know whats going on. I heard iodine being talked about on dr oz show in high regard. Its likely because as the ppls consciousness expands they have to give some degree of truth to keep credibility. On another note, the more mainstream something becomes id be more concerned about will there be a loss in quality due to increased needs of quantity, or over extraction or something like that. As you know the mega corporations try to dominate everything that's anything, and gov'ts,pharma, etc without fail will try to monopolize/ (& alter) all the major components the body needs, unsurprisingly.. I see all these new fish oil commercials for example, I surely wouldn't buy a supplement brand that is on tv and has a commercial lol the good shit is kept quiet. Random rant..
