When Multi Vitamins change your pee color
Something recently made me think about this, I remember a long time go taking those cheap synthetic vitamins and
I would always get high lighter piss, and I understand much of the synthetic crap doesnt work and your body doesnt recognize it,
so perhaps your just pissing it out, and maybe only absorbing a very small percentage of it ( which could be detrimental anyways?)
but the reason I mention this is because out of all my supplements my country life Maxi hair supplement I have become a little skeptical ofbecause it always changes my pee color like so every since time. I liked a lot of the hair health ingredients in it, and the zinc and biotin, but Im nearing the end of this bottle, perhaps there is another product out there with similar ingredients that doesn't cause this affect and is more useful? I didnt get it at a walmart or anything like that, it came from a health food store, but I know gnc and vitamin shop carries this brand also and Ive always been careful with supplements that can be bought in the mainstream locations, or those advertisted on tv ( not that this was that i know of) because I am aware of pharmaceutical companies also buying out and owning many of the vitamin brands...

Re: When Multi Vitamins change your pee color
i have no idea if this is correct, but id just figured that the change in color means the body isnt absorbing or using it all. could be because it's food grade or low quality or it could be the body simply takes absorbs what it needs and gets rid of the rest.

Re: When Multi Vitamins change your pee color
I've noticed that when I take B Vitamins, such as a B Complex, my pee turns fluro.
Maxi hair seems to have a lot of B Vitamins, maybe that's it?
Even if I take Berocca, which has a lot of B vitamins, my pee turns fluro.

Its the B vitamins. A lot of the multis have much more than the body can absorb at any one time, and being water soluble, B vits aren't stored in the body. They get flushed out in the urine.

I also notice this if I eat liver (high in b2). Nothing to worry about.
