Lysine for skin and hair

I heard that Lysine is very beneficial for hair and skin for some people. Anyone here used Lysine?

For which people?

Vegetarians should supplement with Lysine.

It seems like besides DHT, everything else in the universe is beneficial for our hair.....

I have been reading on Lysine for some time, my interest was due to Pauling protocol for removal of atherosclerotic plaques. I have more research to do in this regard, have not gotten around it - but it seems Pauling wants Vitamin C, Lysine, and Proline for atherosclerotic plaque reversal - and all in mega doses, you may want to read up on that for Lysine results. Also very helpful for herpes control - some results in that context may provide evidence of hair health as well.
