I spend a lot of time in front of the computer..i searched for a supplement that can help nourish my eyes...but as always there are so many supplements and companies, I just don't know what to choose ..I am considering buying this: http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Ocu-Support-Clinical-Strength-90-Capsules/608?at=0 ...but don't know if it's the best quality..I would really appreciate your feedback!

I found that luteolin helps significantly, even more than astaxanthin.

I use these and they helped my eyesight practically immediately, like 2 days after I saw marked improvement in reading computer type, from where it was a major problem and now no problem at all. I should mention that I was also coming off ribavirin and interferon treatments but it was uncanny how 2 days after taking the supplements my eyesight came right around. I'm a believer.

i was thinking of a combination between http://www.iherb.com/Life-Extension-Super-Zeaxanthin-60-Softgels/25832?at=0 and http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Ocu-Support-Clinical-Strength-90-Capsules/608?at=0 but don't know exactly how to combine so i don't exagerate dosages

I don't think 20 mg of lutein would be too much.

http://www.livestrong.com/article/322139-how-much-lutein-do-you-need-for-macular-degeneration/

Many foods contain significant amounts of lutein, particularly leafy, dark green vegetables. One cup of cooked kale contains more than 23 mg of lutein, and a single cup of cooked spinach has just over 20 mg.

well I do like spinach(I hear it's fairly rich in magnesium too) is this same amount in frozen spinach too? I agree about bilberry supplements only supplement I ever took I immediately noticed an effect on eyes vitamin A can have an effect IME too, but you gotta take it consistently for a while and still not as good as bilberries lol. I'd imagine taking both and eating spinach would be a triple whammy Laughing
