I've read its good to not take vitamin C with food because it increases iron absorption and too much iron feeds cancerous cells.

Does any one know if taking Betaine HCl with enzymes also increases the absorption of iron?

teacup - It does, but you need stomach acid. Not enough stomach acid and you'll get too little iron and too little protein and not enough minerals.

Just avoid taking Vitamin C with meals.
