progenitor cells? Empty progenitor cells?

Post  fumanchu Mon Jan 10, 2011 8:07 am

I've been keeping up to date on the biotech companies in trials and whatnot for treatments and the latest discovery, as some here must have read, is that the number of stem cells in our scalps are that of those with full heads of hair. Only, they don't become/create progenitor cells.

I know there are progenitor cell therapies out there, i wonder if it's worth a shot? Has anyone ever tried that approach or thought of it.

Hey Fumanchu.

Have been looking into this... Dr. Robert Becker's work might be able to accomplish this but time and trial will tell.

Hey AR,

I suspect that some of Pragues work may actually have a weak effect in this area. Not his latest stuff mind. I can't 'achieve' the aim of that at all...

This research suggests that Stem-Kine, a commercially-available supplement, can increase the blood circulation of hematopoietic stem cells, which can give rise to all blood cells, and endothelial progenitor cells, which repair damage to blood vessels.

WHAT IS IT?
Each 2 capsules of Stem-Kine contains:
Vitamin D3 2000 IU
Proprietary Blend: L fermentum extract, ellagic acid 40%, beta 1,3 glucan 1400 mg
