LittleFighter, by "premature" balders do you mean much younger people?

Yes, people who started losing hair at a young age, like me at 18 or so.
Not sure but probably starting losing hair at your 30's might be considered premature... never cared about these terms or designations so not sure if it's valid.

Anything new to report? at least digestion-wise?
Some extra info and thoughts...
I believe this product contains 1 billion CFUs per capsule, a relatively low number nowadays when speaking of probiotics. These numbers are easily achievable by eating home made yogurt. If you want to make some save one or two caps and make a small batch initially. Buy some biotin caps and there you have an infinite supply of Inneov's anti-dandruff probiotic.
This probiotic has been shown to be anti-allergy, reduce body weight (specific gut flora composition = obesity), antagonize pathogens, be anti-inflammatory and other benefits.
This stuff reduces sebum (probably by reducing yeast populations). In theory this probiotic should help hair growth, acne, psoriasis and other skin problems.

Guys--
Why waste your money on some expensive strain when you can get something superior for far cheaper? I'm talking about Kefir.
GO to KefirLady.com. 20 bucks. Come on folks!

Nid,
The idea is to use a human strain with specific benefits (not found in kefir) and my proposal is not to buy this expensive stuff forever but make yogurt with it and have a low cost source of this strain that lasts forever, so you only have to purchase it once.

Heres the thing.
My digestion feels better then it ever has but my scalp doesnt feel Thaaaat great. It might have felt great that day when I tried it first but I still have dandruff and itchy eruptions going on in my scalp.
I read testimonials on there site and many people said that they used this product 2 months to get rid of dandruff.
My question is that if im feeling the digestion effects of it immediately which are phenomenal then shouldnt I feel the anti dandruff effects immediately as well?

Just got mine today... I took one pill before a late dinner which turned into a homemade cookie binge... Not a great idea.
I don't normally eat any sugar at all besides what I get from raw nuts, veggies and the occasional piece of fruit... I'll report back soon.
BTW, I also got that Dr. Ohiro, or whatever his name is, probi and it's the first brand to ever give noticeable stomach disturbance.... pretty good sign there.

Green, I bet it does!
I would bet it does eliminate the bad yeasts. But Im not sure if it will have the same effect on inflammation and skin recovery that ST11 has.
You have me convinced.
I've been reading through the rest of this form and you said that "there isn't any yogurt in the US that containst L. paracasei ST11."
Is there an explanation to how to cultivate this bacteria? I don't quite understand your process; you buy the pills and then make yogurt from them, is that correct? How are are you making your yogurt, if you could send a link to a trustworthy site on how to make your own yogurt, that would be great!
Right now the only way I know how to make yogurt is through my kefir.
How are the results coming along?

Lactobacillus Pracasei is one of the probiotics that is known to degrade oxaletes. Don't know if they mean in vitro or in vivo. Info from Yahoo Group Trying_Low_Oxalates.

A bump for this. Thinking about making my own yoghurt with these, just not sure how? I often go travelling for months on end - can it be frozen during these times?
Thanks man for all the help and info on this.

Throwing this out there because I don't know the answer and have not seen any studies on long term use of L.P. Is it possible that the Malassezia yeast on the skin or head would develop a sort of immunity against L.P. after use over a long period of time?

LittleFighter - Great thread this is that you started here. Beneficial bacteria is one of the most unrecognized and and appreciated frontiers of new medicine I think.
Here's an interesting study that's been brought up before in the past and it does have some digestive link to it:
Associations among hair loss, oral sulfur-containing gases, and gastrointestinal and metabolic linked diseases in Japanese elderly men: pilot study.

The Theralac probiotic seems to have it in (or is it a different strain?) Would this be sufficient? It has 5billion CFU.

LF - any chance you could do a very simple explanation about how to make our own yoghurt with the inneov pills?

yea I tried making yogurt a few weeks ago with a few different strands, one being st11 and failed. I used a yogurt maker so all i had to do was put it on and leave it for 24 hours and none of the strands worked properly. They were sweet smelling and I think they all went bad. I need some guidance too.
