Re: Why Ashwagandha for hairloss?
Ashwaghanda or Indian Winter Cherrry is a very beneficial herb for many. It reduces Cortisol(and anxiety), increases endogenous antioxidants, and helps the body manufacture thyroid hormone naturally. It also boosts Adrenal function. If you are hyperthyroid you may want to be careful as it may increase it slightly over what you need.

Perform a Basal temperature test, if you do search for it there instructions on how to perform the tests, and what your results imply.

Read what DM5 wrote. Ashwaganda reduces cortisol.
Cortisol is believed to exacerbate, or even cause, hair loss.
I've taken the herb for a long time w/no negative side effects whatsoever.

Probably just once per day, depending on the quality & concentration of extract.

On the bottle it says withania somnifera (2.5% withanolides) - 750mg per 1 capsule. It says take 2 capsules twice daily. Seems like alot, what do you think?

I believe it has to do with telomere. Ashwaganda is believed to increase telomerase.

Stress aggravates hair loss. Cortisol is also thought to reduce testosterone. There's a thyroid/metabolic link to hair loss, for sure. Additionally, prolonged stress can lead to adrenal burnout, which also can play a role in hair loss.

I take Ashwagandha too and I do think you should start with only one capsule a day. I take the powdered herb 250 MG twice per day.
Take only one per day for now. Increase dosage after a few months if you feel the need.

I'd probably start off at one capsule per day and see how you feel.
