Ashwagandha vs Phosphatidylserine

So as time goes on I've come to realize the core of my issues(DUPA and Acne) maybe be a byproduct of excessive stress. I recently started transcendental meditation as well as taking magnesium and my skin has improved tremendously. I want to push things further and test out a cortisol reducing supplement. I am trying to decide between Ashwagandha and Phosphatidylserine. I've heard that Phosphatidylserine is more powerful. At the same time I've also read that the variant readily available, which is derived from soy or sunflower seeds, have little to no effect and that most the studies are conducted with Phosphatidylserine derived from a bovine source. How do these types of Phosphatidylserine compare?
