UPDATE ON MY SITUATION Empty UPDATE ON MY SITUATION

Post  AUSSIE Wed Oct 08, 2008 7:44 pm

Hi everyone, my current regiment is listed in my signature, i have only recently added alot of the vitamins. Results: My psoriasis has almost dissapeared, not much to report as far as stopping my hairloss. Another positive is i have nether had this much energy, must be the B group vitamins and Magnesium.

Q1. Is the dosage i am taking sufficient to tackle hairloss?
Q2. I am really in need of a topical that can help with stopping hairloss and promoting growth, i am considering taking Spectral DNC as there is a few people that has had success using it, is there any opther topical that can be as effective?

Thankyou guys,

AUSSIE

Aussie - None of those ingredients would be very potent from a hair growth prospective. They fit more of a supportive role. Also regarding the Hairmax laser comb, it's no where as effective as a laser helmet.

Some key ingredients that are missing are Essential fatty acids (source of Omega-3), hormone balancers, such as either PM Kudzu, Spruce Lignans, Maca, etc. And something extremely critical, Ecklonia Cava, this is an eight interconnected ring phenolic, which beats every other antioxidant out there along with being a powerful inhibitor of anti-plasmin. This thins the blood and prevents poor circulation. This is something that nothing else can touch in this area.

sissi - They are both the same, just a different way of labeling them. 7-hydroxymatairesinol or 7-HMR is a precursor of the mammalian lignan enterolactone. They are derived from the Norwegian spruce tree. So they are also called Spruce Lignans.

Hi there IH,

Both me and friend of mine are using Ecklonia Cava as part of our regimens however, my friend experiences stomach upsets after taking the Ecklonia cava. Is this a normal side effect and how can it be resolved. He does take it with meals along with his other supplements. He id have stomach ulcers in the past. He's really annoyed about it as he doesn't want to give up the EC since its such a good supplement for hair regrowth but he also can't tolerate the stomach discomfort. Do you have any suggestions I can pass onto him. Thanks for your help again.

Grateful

Hi, thanks for the advise. I have decided to add Maca Root and Ecklonia Cava, i can order Maca Root from betterlife.com but unable to find Ecklonia Cava, where do you guys find this vitamin?
If i was to add these two vitamins to my regiment do you think i have a solid regiment to fight hairloss? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

AUSSIE, Ecklonia cava is not a vitamin but a brown kelp (I think). You can only get it
under the patented extract name Fibroboost (Seanol), best price at iherb.com

Hairloss can be firecely unpredictable, but once stabilised it can be reversed completely. Except for total bald areas.

Grateful - Your friend might have some bacteria to deal with before he can tolerant the EC. I have not heard of this side effect before.

Something like this might help: http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?c=1&pid=834&at=0

Aussie - Here's my regimen page, which provides sources to various products.

http://www.freewebs.com/immortalhair/mycurrentregimen.htm

I usually recommend www.iherb.com as they ship internationally at a reasonable cost.
