Conjugated Linoleic Acid
Since we were talking about supplements to lose weight, Conjugated Linoleic Acid was found to reduce 8.7% of bodyfat in one year for those taking 3 grams a day.
I would like to hear other opinion on this supplement.
I have personally taken and have experienced a mild change in body composition
Here is a link for anyone that wants to purchase some

Re: Conjugated Linoleic Acid
While I haven't taken it myself I've heard from some trustworthy people "online" that it's helpful.
For me, Green Tea, Warrior Diet and cold showers works great for me and for the past 1 1/2 years lugol's.
Here is some info on cold showers FWIW,

April 8, 2009 -- By activating the brown fat in your body, you could lose 9 pounds or more of bad white fat every year -- without having to eat less or exercise more.
Until recently, scientists thought adults didn't have brown fat. They thought it was there to help babies keep their bodies warm and went away as the body became more muscular.
But three new studies in the New England Journal of Medicine now show that more than half of adult men and women have enough brown fat in their bodies to burn off substantial amounts of white fat -- if the brown fat somehow is stimulated.
New studies by Wouter D. van Marken Lichtenbelt, PhD, and colleagues at the University of Maastricht, Netherlands; and by Aaron M. Cypess, MD, PhD, of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, and colleagues show that:
Obese people have less brown fat than lean people do.
Men have less brown fat than women do.
Older people have less brown fat than younger people do.
People with high blood sugar have less brown fat than people with normal blood sugar.
"In other words, they found a direct correlation between the activation of brown adipose tissue and metabolic measures that indicate the presence or absence of good health,"

Cold showers have the following positive effects:
* Brings blood to the capillaries, therefore increasing circulation throughout the body.
* Cleans the circulatory system.
* Reduces blood pressure on internal organs.
* Provides flushing for the organs and provides a new supply of blood.
* Strengthens the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.
* Contracts the muscles to eliminate toxins and poisonous wastes.
* Strengthens the mucous membranes, which help resist hay fever, allergies, colds, coughs.
