I find this a little confusing. Did any of these rats have androgen-related alopecia? At the beginning it said..."Forty eight 10-12 week old healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 300-350 g were used for wound healing and hair growth experiment."... No mention of any kind of genetically modified rats that had alopecia. Just wounding and shaving of the normal healthy rats.

Yet at the end of the article it says..."This study reported effectiveness of E. cottonii extracts in management of wound healing, hair growth and androgen-induced alopecia in the shortest possible period of time."... Am I missing something?
