I like what John Oliver has to say about topics.
What's everyone's thoughts on the video?

I watch John every week, he's fantastic. Not sure his video would go over to well in this forum. We've got magic rocks and violet rays that are just as implausible as Dr. Oz's magic herbs and coffee beans. He's heading down the path of Mercola, the Health Ranger, and of course, the Food Babe.

I just think hes delivering facts, im sure if he aimed his sword at the fda it would be much more shocking (and funny).

I think its healthy to get perspectives like this.
Not to put off supps, but to do your due diligence.

Magic rocks? There is solid evidence behind everything I take.. The FDA will take down anyone who have a lot of eyes on them and don't promote their crap.

Of course he's talking about the facts, he gets pissed off at rip off woo scam artists. There's no agenda, he's not selling anything, cites peer reviewed studies. People don't have time to research true science - and even if they did wading through a controlled study would be difficult for the layman. So, if likable Dr. Oz promises results with "magic of green coffee beans" show, the great majority of people take his word for it.
