The Other Side of Hairloss Empty The Other Side of Hairloss

Post  john3333 Fri Jul 22, 2016 4:42 pm

After years of battling hairloss I can say that I am unhappy. I feel that I was born for hairloss, for a shiny bald head. Why are my genes programmed to make me age quicker? If God is real, I bet he created hairloss, and thus social isolation. The theme of my life has been sadness, pain, and sorrow because people are repulsed by the way I look. I do not believe in God because I have prayed on monday. I have prayed on tuesday for hair growth. It makes me cry how much I have prayed on every day for years , but I have not received salvation. I had hope like all of you by using turmeric capsules, MSM, alpha lipoic acid, omega 3, iodine, and vitamin D but nothing has ever worked for me. Why have we been dealt a terrible hand in our one and only precious life, while there are those who have full heads of thick hair with girlfriends or even just friends? It makes me cry how I'll never be able to love and to be loved. Are my genes programmed for suffering?
If anybody knows something that will work even on my genes please tell me. I still have at least hope and faith for a better future.

Edit: I'm not sure but I think the vegan diet will help those like me with extremely weak dna. I think its slowed down my hairloss but not much. I get smelly gas only with meat(I think chicken is safe though, not sure though), dairy, eggs, garlic, onions, oatmeal(If I eat enough oatmeal I can sometimes feel my scalp getting weaker because it tingles. This is the worst offender.), garbanzos(sometimes & not sure about other legumes but lentils are maybe ok. I've been eating a lot of lentils. Maybe lentils increase gas a bit but it doesn't smell.) Recently I noticed even peanuts are bad for me. They give me acne. Whole wheat and brown rice  constipate me but I dont eat much of it. Quinoa, corn(even regular  crappy blue corn chips. I don't eat them though), fruit and veg are good in terms of digestion/gas. I don't eat the bad stuff now of course so I dont have bad gas now. Im mostly talking about nonorganic food. Organic meat is too expensive to try. I don't eat oils or high fat foods(sometimes I eat avocados though) since its not exactly satisfying, tastes good, or nutritious(oils have almost 0% in every nutrient). I don't think fruit or vegetable juices do me any bad, but I dont juice anymore. I should juice a lot of vegetables though. This only proves I have weak genes. If anyone has gone beyond this point and regrown their hair please reply.

Speaking of acne, I had a lot of acne as a kid, I'm clear now though(besides the peanuts I had this week).

I understand your pain. I sometimes wonder if it is karma. We were bad in a previous life and now we are paying the price with baldness. Have you considered a hair transplant? Or maybe toupes and wigs? There may be a couple cures around the corner in 2017. One coming from a universty in turkey and another from a doctor in italy.

After seeing a number of hair loss forums, the common word is cure.
For me the word cure means heal, illness, disease etc.. and not hair loss.

Hasen´t the magic cure been around the corner for at least 20 years by now, after Merck released their famous prostate cure for baldness?
Industry and their puppets still amazes me, from the hair transplant surgeon (cannot use the word doctor), to the maintaining your hair drugs.

So it docent matter if it is a simple treatment because it became a cure, and therefore the profit wheel is ongoing.

Jesus that was depressing to read. Its really not that bad, all my friends who are bald get women. And stop putting women on a pedestal and man the hell up. Get in the gym get ripped, get healthy and develop your personality and confidence. Whats works for others might not work for you, experiment with in safe means of yourself. Add in some scalp massages, a boar bristle brush, positive attitude and eat as healthy as you can on your own budget

My advice.

Start the scalp exercises today. They are free to do. but they take time, like bodybuilding, 3 to 4 months to see the first improvement.

Sorry to hear such story, john3333. I bet genetics is only partially to blame though. Knowing how much it takes to succeed, and what's the experience like, i give list of topics that can contribute to your overall failure. From your arsenal of things taken - nothing can be powerful enough to turn causes around or at least lessen them to extent to be less bothering if they are from list bellow:

- dental infection: They blow and spread  - on each occasion you eat, taxing your brain, inducing inflammation and possibly elevating hairloss.

- fungal systemic infection: candida, epidermphyton, rosacea, etc.. the list can be long but tie to being toxic and with not optimal thyroid.

- serious food sensitivities: gluten factor is not the only thing when searching for good digestion.

- social disturbances: the way you are programmed to interact with people, can cause stress and inflammation. As soon as you are happy with yourself, start loving your life, people will notice security and friendship is easier to establish. People can either calm you down or stress you out, but you have a powerful role in it.

- heavy metal poisoning: Once person is toxic with metals (particularly brain is usually affected), you are paying great taxes for just being alive. Addressing it with chelation, might help you how you perceive life.

- mitochondrial status. there are ways of reversing mitochondrial damage to extent you can see it with your eyes.

- thyroid and hormones: as tooth decay is, i believe hairloss has also big hormonal role. Elevated prolactin, low testosterone, low thyroid and adrenal overactivity can predispose you to not heal yourself properly. Speaking of healing, focusing on good sleep is also idea worth of additional exportation.

There are ways to continue even when life is not good. Best luck.

I did a few before, but I noticed that I get this lines on my head when I squeeze my scalp muscles together they start on the top of the crown for about 2 1/2 inches. Its like little ridges, but when I run my fingers there it, they don't feel bumpy, they are slight darker then the complexion of my skin, what could it be?

The Other Side of Hairloss Empty The upside of hair loss

Post  HarryBalls Wed Jul 27, 2016 4:02 am

John,
Reading your post was like a page out of my hair loss journal. It's been a roller coaster for sure. Like you, I had a very difficult time accepting things. I started the massages and maybe three months into them, I started seeing results! I also met a smoking hot girl at the same time. I tried to conceal this forum and my web history (about hair loss) from her but I finally couldn't hide it from her anymore (she thought I was looking up some other things and I had to come clean). Not only was she relieved that I wasn't cheating on her but she explained that her dad was doing the massaged as well! Needless to say, this girl was a keeper. While she's typically dated men with more hair than me, she loves me for me. She also gives me massages! Can you believe that? Her dad and I also formed a very close bond.
Throughout this process, I realized that even though more hair would be great, having self confidence is better. Doing the massages does help tail the anxiety that comes with greater hair loss but I've come to accept my genes and future. I've also been researching some toupees in case it gets very bad.
Be careful about your diet. Bad gas is not worth it. Trust me (I'll save that story for another time).
Keep massaging and keep working on your self esteem. Remember, you are not your hair.

You are wrong. I am my hair. Everyone is their hair, their looks. I'm 23 but I have the hair of a 90 year old. I don't think I'll make it to 70 years old since I'm aging so damn fast, not that it matters! Who would want to spend their life in loneliness? My life has been suffering and no girl has ever liked or loved me. I have spent in sum literally months reading on hairloss forums and nothing has ever worked. And don't tell me about my diet because Michael Greger has researched it to hell.
Sorry if this sounds like I'm angry at you, I'm just a bit disappointed with my life. I've dedicated so much time on hairloss forums and researching health just for the sole purpose of growing back my hair and nothing has worked. Sometimes I wish I was born completely bald so I wouldn't need to waste my life holding on to my fading beauty.

Hi,   my hair loss started in my 20's also, now 20 years later it is well progressed. My best advice to you is move to an Asian country like Thailand or the Philippines with motivation like your life depended on it.  Start meeting ladies from these countries online for free.  Best to do what it takes to get a 4 year degree online that is accredited or a regular degree so you can teach English when you get there.  Not so many English teaching jobs in Philippines, but you can make money in the nearby countries like China or Taiwan.

As you might tell, I am American, but have lived in Asia for 12 years now.  Best decision I could have made. Hundreds of amazing stories with friends and great ladies. There are better societies to hang out in while you find a process that works for your hair.

Linked below are the photos of my regrow process,  guess you have seen it.  To bring good things into your life you need some hope, a fun to be around attitude, and find some real love and opportunities.  I have had the life that men worldwide only dream of. Location matters.

The Other Side of Hairloss Empty Re: The Other Side of Hairloss

Post  SonofOdin Thu Jul 28, 2016 4:32 am

Around age 23 was also when I went nuts over my hair loss. I was a NW3-NW4. The key is to be happy and complete with yourself. Fast forward two more years and, despite growing some hair back, it still wasn't enough. But what I do have is a better sense of self worth. I spent my time in the gym, I spent my time doing things for my hair and whether they worked or not, the fact I put in so much time into myself made me realize I must be worth something.

So, I'm on the road to self sufficiency. At age 23 I was panicked. I'd found the girl of my dreams pretty much and I let her slip away because I was too afraid she'd run her hands through my long combover and realize the truth. What could I do. How could a 19 year old girl understand, that me as a 22-23 year old had more hair loss than her father?

I still look back and am sad, but now I've been alone so long that it's something I've accepted. I think given time you'll accept it too. I like my alone time because my time is only mine, and I never have to make compromises. It's given me way more time to focus on career and hobbies and so long as you stay busy and always striving towards a goal you're going to be alright. Ask many guys in relationships and they'll tell you girls are more trouble than their worth, and one look at the marriage statistics will tell you the same thing. I know it sucks but in a sense we all dodged a bullet when it comes to girls... but it's still unfortunate to have that choice taken from us.

There are bald guys who get girls but I'm guessing you wouldn't have posted this if you had the head shape to rock the look.

Thank you for your post. I want to find the sunshine of my life and if she's in Asia that's fantastic. Can you tell me more about how you moved to Asia? Which country do you live in? How is life there?
I don't think I can go on in the US. Even listening to Love Song by The Cure makes me depressed and lonely. I feel so old, incomplete and lonely. I know it won't always be like this.

The Other Side of Hairloss Empty Re: The Other Side of Hairloss

Post  cdto2012 Sat Aug 06, 2016 6:53 pm

Glad you are interested in Asia. I have lived in Thailand most of my time, but lived and traveled many places. I will speak in generalities. If you do not mind women over 30 you can find nice women in most Asian countries.

If you want very beautiful, younger women, Thailand has become a bit of a maze of online boyfriends and a self centered society. The "escort" ladies are plentiful and are more of a survival option, rather than any solution. When you live here it is better than being a tourist. The language is difficult to learn, the visas hard, and the work scarce - unless you want to teach English. Rooms are about $200 per month and the food $10 a day.

To teach English if you have a 4 year degree and a TEFL you can teach legally in most countries. If you so not have a degree, you can teach basically illegally but usually unbothered. Sometimes a fake diploma will do the trick. China is a good place to look for English teaching, some companies will pay your way and get you a position. Cambodia is one of the best and easiest countries to get visas and legal teaching work. It is a great society, nice standard of living. Any online trading or computer programming is the other option.

Finally as for the most stable intelligent English speaking women, the Philippines are a great option. The country is a bit of a zoo, but has it's nice side. Not much for work, visas are easy and cost about $800 USD per year. There are plenty of practice women on free dating sites.

Mostly in Asia the culture is very different. People are simpler and friendlier. It is not a world of crime, fear, and isolation. Yes anywhere having a relationship requires some cash, in Asia it is an up front deal. There is true love here and I have had many great experiences, even had a Thai women take care of everything for a few years when I was in online university. For your average women, they are pretty up front about what it takes to be their man. If they say they need support for their family, or kid, or whatever, that is not prostitution or buying a body here. The woman will be spending 50% of her small income to those causes, she wants you to help. Every where relationships have responsibilities. Just that the women really take care of you better here, and it is like $300 USD a month rather that USA prices to live and have what it takes to get a lady.

So after getting inspired, figure out how to be the best man you can be. Yes how to really make enough money. As they say, "how well hung is your wallet ? "

Looking back my time here has been so much fun and amazing times. I learned things and skills along the way. Many times I had very little money , but always had amazing relationships. Every friend that I have encouraged to live here is still here and loving it. We all never want to go back.

So keep most inquiries on the public forum for others to consider. Private message me for personal things and if you want a friend here to visit.

Post  john3333 Mon Aug 08, 2016 6:09 am

If anyone else has had experience with women despite their receding hairline please post here. Also post here if you know anybody that has overcome hairloss-induced inferiority and hairloss-induced depression. Being active on this forum has made me more bald and stressed if anything. My goals have been changing a lot and I've realized I want to live with baldness rather than fight it. I'm tired of postponing my happiness to cure my baldness, so I'm giving up. I'm not going to fight with my genes any longer. I'm going to start learning to appreciate what I have been given in this life because that's all that matters. It was never about the hair for any of us. We all came here to cure our loneliness rather than our hairloss.
I can't let balding take any more life out of me. I believe that there is a soulmate out there for everyone and I know my angel's out there looking for me  . I can't make her wait any longer just because I feel insecure.

I appreciate your post a lot. I used to think that I shouldn't fool myself into believing that personality will attract a girl or that hair isn't important. I tried a lot to compensate for my hairline and I regret wasting my time. I've watched all of these videos https://www.youtube.com/user/RSDTyler/videos to learn how to approach her, but my insecurity was always one step ahead. All the time learning pickup lines or to be fashionable always resulted the same, in loneliness. It will not have been for nothing though because once I overcome my insecurity, I will be confident enough to approach my princess.

Pick up lines are corny and that's now what I meant by developing your personality.

Go to the gym work out, take a dance class, play sports, read, eat healthy and don't worry about hair, its hair. Develop the new you, get out of your comfort zone, if not a dance class take a cooking class or acting class just for the hell of it

Honestly, to get over the emotional stress and psychological damage, shave your head and wear a wig.
You will feel better, honestly.

But still do the scalp exercises, and take the best supplements and diet you can.

Not sure about scalp pigmentation, they need to keep their hair really short.

I'm going to be going on a raw diet to rejuvenate my hair and beauty. Raw diets have been called the "elixir of youth" Tonya Zavasta, a raw foodist, is 58 but has the beauty and hair of a 20 year old thanks to her raw diet and facial exercises.
Edit: I'm going to be talking less about raw diets and veganism. People should do what works for them. I know CS eats meat. I think of CS as a son, I trust what he says. I think my hairloss is caused by poor sleep anyways. I know CS has done an article on insomnia so I'm going to try some of his tips and tricks.
