strange metallic smell Empty strange metallic smell

I keep smelling a metallic like scent but obviously theres nothing around me that is causing it ive gotten these scents before and they have started back since highschool would anyone have any idea what It could be?

Have you taken any iodine recently?  Sometimes a sensation of having a metallic aroma can occur due to a dumping of halogens and metals after iodine.

No iodine yet CS but ive also received them during headaches
