Strengthening Supplements for Elderly People in Critical Condition
Hi,
My grandmother is currently in end stages of Alzheimer's. And though I know anything that I do will be of little use, I still ponder what else can be done.
She currently takes a number of medications, according to the Doctor, and I do not want to endanger her by mixing stuff. Though I know that these medications are questionable, I feel it would be unwise to interfere at this time.
That said, are there any supplements, preferably in powder form, (since she can only eat soup and paste now), that I could safely give?

Re: Strengthening Supplements for Elderly People in Critical Condition
I would first look toward deficiencies to give your grandmother a better quality of life, and possible reversal of some of her condition. You want things to: improve bile and blood flow, *regulate* cholesterol, improve collagen and bone structure, also generally reduce calcification, oxidization and inflammation.
Granulated lecithin is a must for the elderly. I also like the idea of hydrolyzed collagen powder and msm powder. You could make her a daily smoothie with those ingredients. A small amount of daily Triacetyluridine has the potential for a significant effect, can be purchase in bulk (need a scale for proper measurement) or in capsule form.

Grounding/earthing her bed also makes a lot of sense. Good luck

Re: Strengthening Supplements for Elderly People in Critical Condition
Alzheimer's = some kind of toxicity. I can cite various examples.....so what to do?
Niacinamide 250 mg several times per day
Lithium orotate or aspartate 10 mg twice per day
Sulfur (check out my signature for source). 1 tsp per 100 pounds of body weight.
