Nettle Root??

Hi there,

Has anyone here tried nettle ROOT for hair regrowth ? I think there is a difference between the root and the leaf and it is the root that supposedly helps. I've read some feedback and so called expert opinions on the internet but you know how conflicting those can be. Does it lower DHT or does it simply block DHT receptors, all kinds of different explanations that do not go along. What is the truth about this herb and is there any validity about its beneficial effects on hair.

Probably no one here knows the answer to your question. Why not just try it for yourself and reach your own conclusions? Sounds worthwhile.

CS had it in his early protocol, but it got replaced (Think by Green tea) and I used it for about 6 months, but cannot say whether it did anything.

Nettle root helped me alot in the early days taking saw palmetto as well, and before ever having heard of immortal hair.

Flax lignans or spruce lignans (hmrlignans) is alot better IMHO.

Topical nettle root will reduce seborrhea. Concerning the regrowing process, nettle root
isn't strong enough / suitable to trigger the process.

Stinging Nettle is still part of my regimen. Don't know if it helps. But it's cheap. I'd say it makes no difference as far as regrowth.
