I would post a different before picture. they are all going to say that your hair is wet in the first picture.

What made you decide to take these two supplements, vitamin A and b5? Did you read somewhere that they decrease sebum?

In two words: cystic acne, it had more positive effects than I expected so I grew my hair out again and bam, balding was reversing

It's interesting that our discussions have to turned to pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), as I had been trying to figure out the cause of significant improvement in my hair's thickness/growth. I recently read that royal jelly is an excellent (the best food) source of vitamin B5. In addition, royal jelly naturally contains other B vitamins, necessary to maintain a proper balance.

First of all congratulations on the improvement and i hope it continues.

congrats so you think once you added the Vitamin A and B5 it made all the difference, or when you started noticing more improvements? Maybe I should give that a shot cause I notice where my frontal hairline is thinning mostly at the temples I get acne there sometimes too.

NewReg posted an article in NY times a couple of months ago, http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/21/science/21gut.html?_r=1&hp, regarding scientist finding that human gut ecosystems may fall into distinct types. They found three distinct "Enterotypes" in each group studied; Americans, Japanese and European. What is known is that gut microbes aid in food digestion in nutrients our body can't make like some vitamins and enzymes. The distinct Entretoype 1 has more enzymes that help produce Vit B7 and Enterotype 2 enzymes produce more B1, no mention of Enterotrope 3. They are at the cusp of understanding this new paradigm and so we don't really know what the microbes of these Enterotrypes emphasis more than others. One Enterotype could emphasize more B5 while the other two produce less of it. What is also interesting is that the scientist speculate we inherit certain species of microbes from out parents, certain microbes colonizing the infant's intestines.

Just to clarify...you experienced the regrowth while continuing to use minoxidil? Or did you drop minoxidil prior to starting the supplement regimen? I assume the former, because minoxidil is still listed as one of your topicals.

I've never dropped Minoxidil even if it does "nothing" we all know what happens when you drop it, I've not put it for 1 week maybe twice put it doesn't make any difference

No one can (should try to) dispute the regrowth that you have obtained thus far. Hopefully, there is more to come (especially behind the hairline in mid-frontal area).

I do think that a gram of vitamin B5 is a lot. Also, 15000 IU of vitamin A is a lot. Many might even state that you are taking "too much" of these two.

I took 50000 IU of vitamin A for 3 months and I just reduced the dosage because many including my GP told me that I risks liver damage or even brain damage if I continue that dosage in the long run, so now I'm really taking only 12000 IU vitamin A, I've just learned that the vitamin A in chlorella is only pro-vitamin A so... 12000 IU exactly. 1 g of B5 is really nothing for an ex acne sufferer, on acne.org some take 10g per day . Thank you for your support, I like this place more than HLT I'll soon post a new video where I'll explain what I did exactly, my story etc. Stay tuned
