DHEA Alternative Empty DHEA Alternative

Post  The Hulk Sat Aug 10, 2013 10:44 am

I wanted to give 10mg of DHEA a go, but to cut a long story short, I need to find an alternative to DHEA.

Does anyone know of something else that would act on the body in a similar way to DHEA?

Thanks.

Renky,

Curious, what kind of problems you were having with DHEA?

As far as its androgenic properties, there aren't many other options that convert to testosterone as directly as DHEA, but the rate at which people convert it varies. The alternative would be to take things earlier in the pathway, such as pregnenolone.

There are a few DHEA metabolites that are touted to have benefits, but they can't be converted to T or E.

7-Keto is supposed to have some fat loss properties. Androsta-3,5-deine-7, 17 dione is another one with purported anti-aromatase activity.

If you are looking for the more androgenic qualities, try some d-aspartic acid. There is some evidence that it mimics luteinizing hormone.
