Best supplements for fibrosis?
Could you please list/recommend me best supplements that should I take for preventing/reversing fibrosis?
I use Emu oil, HA (too expensive for long term use) and considering NAC, R-ALA, Milk Thristle blend or is taurine a better choice?
Tnx for your answers.

This has been covered a lot in the past. Best I've found internally is iodine and curcumin/resveratrol. Vit k2 and the additional ingredients in ortho nutrition "decalcify" may also help. Topically, iodine, dermaroller and bromelain all seem promising.

Like turbo mentioned, I think iodine is a very important one, particularly because it helps modulate estrogen. In that same vein, anything promoting liver health should also help with this.
But probably the biggest bang for your buck will be enzymes, find a strong proteolytic cocktail containing bromelain, lumbrokinase, nattokinase, and/or serratiopeptidase. Ideally they would be coated to survive past the stomach.

TurboJet, have you gotten any results from your regimen since you said that you found those items to be the best?

I'd say they've helped stabilize things...I'm focused on maintaining and improving health more than anything at this point.
If you've never experimented with iodine it's definitely a trip but worth the effort IME.

Thanks for your replies! Enzymes sound good, but I have read that is better to get them via AMINO ACIDS consumption than with supplementing and I don't even know where can I get these without paying shitload of money (mostly I buy supplements from BIOVEA). All these listed supplements like iodine, curcumin, topical bromelain, dermaroller etc. come with a risk of shedding/worsening the situation - I read lots of reports. I need something safe, cheap, easy to use and effective that can I take on daily basis for preventing my follicles to scar.

Poor mucous membrane can be a cause for stomach distress from taking enzymes. I have found that enteric coated versions help with this issue though. I got pain from taking digestive enzymes for about the first three or four days but it has subsided. Interestingly, i switched to taking betaine HCL with meals and this helped relieve the irritation of enzymes.
Also remember that enzymes can cause the breakup of biofilm, so this could play a part too.

Oh, well then stay the hell away from it. I thought you were referring to some mild stomach cramps. If the effects are that bad then there is no need to try it again. Although it could be symptoms of die-off, its to vague to tell. In either case, I'd probably opt for the natto. Try some serrapeptase and see how you do.
