Just saw this posted somewhere. I mean to me it's pretty obvious without having a doctor endorse the idea of spray tan chemicals being dangerous for our health and causing cancerous cells, but it's good that it's in the mainstream now. I know girls that get spray tans week in week out and "maintain" it during the week with their own products. I've been trying to get through to people how harmful this stuff probably is, but counter arguments are always "no but this is the safe kind" or "it's got organic ingredients".
Anyone know anything else specific to the chemicals in spray tan? I wonder if there is a decently safe kind. Like maybe betacarotene as the main ingredient or something. I want to get the girls I know off the stuff, but it's hard convincing when it gives such a confidence boost for them and they think they're doing something healthy. Not to mention the stuff is gross. it's like cake residue all over skin.
