This oil and coconut oil get really hyped up for Hair loss. Has anyone had any good or neutral experiences with it?

I've used both separately as a topical but not together. I used Emu on the donor scar on transplant twice a day starting 3 days post op, my head drinks the emu oil pretty quick..Idk if it helped much but my donor scar healed incredibly well, almost non existent. Coconut oil doesnt help with dandruff at all for me, but does make my hair feel thicker and more nourished. One day Ill probably try the coconut/Emu oil mix.

If you mean, will it regrow hair? The answer is no. I have used oils in may hair, primarily as styling aids for years. Currently, my favorite is jojoba; it is a clean, light oil. I used emu for about a year. The best brand was emu gold. it is slightly heavier than jojoba, but fairly light and pretty clean. For a while I used castor oil when i wanted a heavy oil and a real slick greasy look; it is the least clean. Later, I switched to Shea Butter and felt i get a similar effect, but with a slightly cleaner oil. I never really liked coconut oil, but I haven't tried in it years. A friend of mine used to slick back his hair with coconut oil and it looked pretty good on his hair, but he had thick asian hair.

I think it's true that emu oil is very healthy topical. But it's also true that you hardly get quality product. I had damaged skin from usage of minoxidil - i got dark circles and really bad skin from it. After a month of using emu - don't remember the brand i searched a lot for it, i bought it from Australia - Ebay, and my skin improved a lot. Don't think it helped me in hair loss although the structure of skin looks younger than before.

If somebody found a good quality emu oil supplier, i'd glad to know.

I got mine from Swansonvitamins....going to try it out first tell you guys how it is on here. I am going to combine with with Virgin Coconut Oil and maybe some Shea butter. I guess the affects of it are better when mixed supposedly? And its really hard to tell if you have hair regrowth.....I mean the new hair would be so small you would need a microscope, if any growth even occured.
