The best antioxidants
I'd like to make a list of the top 5 best anti oxidants (foods, supplements or sublingual, not IV), so i can make sure i am taking some of these every day.
To start the discussion, I listed a few here:
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
Ecklonia Cava extract
Glutathione
Blueberries, prunes, blackberries
Beta-carotene
Lutein
Lycopene
Vitamin A
Vitamin E
Alpha Lipoic Acid (and R-Lipoic Acid)
Got others? Fat-soluble antioxidants?
Any naturally-occurring foods that are better than the ones listed above?

Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)?
there seems to be a lot of controversy about it, but CS suggests its use to fight virii.

Re: The best antioxidants
Negatively charged hydrogen ions (the most powerful antioxidant).

Like this one http://www.iherb.com/Source-Naturals-Dr-Patrick-Flanagan-s-Hydrogen-Boost-Megahydrin-500-mg-30-Capsules/2501?at=hil335 ?
Is there such a thing as too many anti oxidants, what if i took the hydrogen ions, and 10 other supplements and foods from the lists above and below every day, is there a danger in taking too many antioxidants?
To add to the list of anti oxidant:
Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C
PureWay C
Green tea / white tea / tea extract (EGCG)
Resveratrol
Bilberry berry
Astaxanthin
Hawthorn berry
Turmeric
Bee pollen

The cover looks kinda cheese...
On the other hand, I did not expect something mainstream from CS, like ascorbic acid...
Talk about hipster ...

Excessive intake of antioxidants (or improper timing of dosage) might be an issue if you're trying to increase insulin sensitivity by building muscle. Oxidative stress and inflammation are actually necessary for muscle hypertrophy.

Re: The best antioxidants
It's not that black and white. It totally depends on the type antioxidant. This has been mentioned on another thread. If concern just avoid taking vitamin C during your work out. Go ahead and take green tea, it won't hurt you in any way.
Same with many other antioxidants.

CS - Do you take the negatively charged Hydrogen? If not, why?

Re: The best antioxidants
Here's more, a list from a Dr Holt:
Ellagic acid (pomegranate and raspberry fruit)
Lycopene from tomato
Green Tea polyphenols
Grape seed extract 95% conmtaining oligomeric proanthocyanidins
Resveratrol
Turmetic (curcumin) micronized
Selenium (amino acid chelate) – indirect antioxidant
Zin (amino acid chelate) – indirect antioxidant
He also said too much vitamin C (too much of one antioxidant) might cause tissue stress (oxidation) .. so mix a few.

I dont know about water ionizers and would like to see what CS thinks..
I wonder if putting a drop of Concentrace would do the same job without a fancy machine?

That's my number one antioxidant, also takes very little effort and money to be in constant contact with grounded sheets while sleeping. I happen to think the earth's vitamin G'round' is as vital as the sun's vitamin D. My number #2 is astaxanthin. Number #3 is any antioxidant mixture with the potential for increased oral bioavailability and serum concentrations through liposomal delivery, for instance vitamin C, glutathione and curcumin.

Immediately effective, long-term even moreso.

Re: The best antioxidants
Ideally you want to remove superoxidizers like mercury from the system and then discontinue to supplement antioxidants and use food/grounding instead.
Reason is your body uses oxidants to it's own benefit and you don't want to mess up the ballance by oversupplementation.

Re: The best antioxidants
The Alkaline Water is the best anti oxidant that hydrates your skin to prevent premature aging. I've tried the Tyent USA water ionizers. It produces ionized alkaline water, which has anti oxidants present in it, that flushes out the toxins from our body.

Re: The best antioxidants
Hi guys
Want to revisit this post to see if anyone tried this product? I am keen to give it a go, but would like to hear from anyone who has used it. Also, would it replace any other antioxidants (e.g like Vit E etc)

Tried it? Yes, many times for years.
I do not use it daily (it always seems to run out of stock), I keep it around for emergencies.
What sort of emergencies? It does hydrate very well, and I have dealt with rapid recovery in those who were either food poisoned or had significant water loss.
