Low Cholesterol?
I recently gave blood and they offered a free cholesterol test. I've been feeling a bit tired in the past weeks and haven't been eating my usual diet rich in meats and fats. I had my cholesterol tested and it came out at 100 which is half of the usual 200 or so. Unless they messed up the test (not enough blood on the strip?), this seems way too low. Are there some safe ways to raise it? I'm waiting for my krill oil to come in which i haven't taken in months.
On a side note, I always get really light headed when giving blood and this last time they pulled out the needle early because I was getting so pale. Could this be a symptom of something? Thanks guys.
