Homeopathic remedies
I'm curious as to what everyone's opinion is on this. After buying some allergy and cold tablets thinking they actually had the herbal extracts in them, I was pretty disappointed when I found out what homeopathy actually was (basically lactose and magnesium sterate tablets). I took this as a wake up call to never take good ratings on iherb seriously again.

The sugar and alcohol is used to keep the frequency.
For instance, I can put whatever frequency I want into a glass water but most of it goes away within 2 or 3 days. If I add alcohol and sugar to it, will keep the frequency.
Essentially the frq is used as a way of waking up your body... to stimulate your immune system to problem.
Other area is to supply negatively charged mineral, etc. to offset the positively charged ones.

So you believe that homeopathic medicine is effective and not just placebo pills? I wonder what CS thinks about the subject.

To find a remedy for an acute condition, enter your symptoms, answer a few questions, and the homeopathy remedy finder will show you which homeopathic remedies best match your symptoms. Takes 5-15 minutes. See also Remedy Finder Instructions.

Re: Homeopathic remedies
May I throw my 2 cents in? J87x, no one is quite sure of the mechanism of homoeopathy. I have my doubts if it works well for every category of ailment. However, I have personally found it to work like magic for a few skin related problems, like abscesses, corns, etc. Can't say how effective it is for other problems.
One theory of homoeopathy is that is that it provides minuscule doses of a compound that either encourages or stirs the body to fight the problem at hand. Similar to how vaccines work.
Also, judging homoeopathy medicines based on the fact that they are carried in sugar pills is not fair. You almost always have a choice of sugar pills or liquid drops in alcoholic base. You may prefer the latter.
Do also keep in mind that many homoeopathy medicines actually contain herbal extracts or metal compounds. Its just that they usually are in highly diluted forms.
hth a bit,

Re: Homeopathic remedies
If you do a google search for arnica and male pattern baldness and you'll read about a guy claiming arnica 30c is very effective for MPB even though this isn't what it is normally prescribed for. His method of water dosing it would make it extremely cheap. Like a couple dollars for treatment that will last a long time.
