Newbie here...quick question guys....
Hey guys,
I would like to start off by saying that this site is INSANELY useful. I've found a ton of info here, especially w/ regards to regimens, hairlines, success stories, and topicals. But to be honest, as a newcomer, a lot of the info can be a little overwhelming at times. There were times where I found that some of the methods reccomended didn't work for others, etc (in the hairline topic is what I'm referring to). Also, I read a success story from one member who said that he had gotten great results from using a ton of different supplements vs others who started off more modestly, and then worked their way up with additional supplements.
I was just wondering, is it safe to say that using just the 6 main supplements in the IH website would be effective enough? After reading one of the posts, I plan to buy a Dermaroller and apply Emu Oil to it. Is Emu Oil or Magnesium better? I read positve stories from members who have used both. With the Dermaroller I plan to just roll it a bunch of times around the part of my hairline that I lost, and apply the Emu Oil like once in the morn do the same at night. And obviously I plan to work out and eat better.
I don't mean to sound redundant, becasue i know these topics were brought up in previous posts. If you can just say yes or no, with maybe a brief reason, that would be really helpful. Thanks for reading guys

Re: Newbie here...quick question guys....
JohnC - I believe for the majority of users, Emu oil has not proven itself to be that effective. Also, if you were to still decide to use Emu oil, the dermaroller would not be necessary because Emu will readily penetrate the scalp.
I would recommend the addition of resveratrol, and if you like you can eliminate the biotin, since lipoic acid often contains some biotin along with it.
Magnesium oil is more of an adjunctive treatment. I'm not so sure it will do anything for hair loss. However, it has been positively reported as useful for laser therapy.
Personally, I feel it's a good idea to incorporate some supplemental (internal) magnesium as it can reduce telomere shortening, and help stabilize blood sugar, along with activating a large number of important enzymes systems.

re:quick question
Hey CS,
That sounds great, thanks. I'm glad that I won't need to get the Dermaroll, and might pass on the Emu Oil. Instead I'll definitley add resveratrol to my regimen. I already bought the Biotin, so I think I'll just use it every now and then due to it already being in the Lipoic Acid.
Thanks again
