My Regimen and Swallowing Pills

Came across this site not to long ago - I wanted to first thank everyone for all the information found here - I look forward to getting started!

Ok here is my regimen- not anything special, just starting with some of the more common supplements

Curcumin - 400 mg
Resveratrol - 200 mg
MSM - 2000 mg
Taco-8 - 630 mg
Krill Oil - 1000 mg
FibroBoost - 800 mg
Biotin - 5000 mg

The real issue here is that I have the HARDEST time swallowing pills. I've tried everything in the book for years and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I know a lot of these supplements are basically powder form inside the casing...is it a bad idea to break open the pill and pour in a drink or on my food? What are the pro's and cons to this?

I just wanna tell you that Biotin is not necessery in this regimen.

You can take the pills by pouring out its contents, but a little tip that helped me to swallow pills was to put the capsules/tablet in your mouth, then leave it there and build up saliva and coat the capsules in that so it's wet with your own saliva, this means it will then slip down your throat easier with or without extra liquid to wash it down.

That's basically the normal IH regimen. Hopefully you should have some success. Good luck!

Taco-8...hahah I presume you mean Toco-8? Also, 5000mcg of Biotin.

I hope it works out for you Dirty Hairy. And I would suggest taking the supplements separately, if possible. Curcumin, resveratrol, and Toco-8 seem to work well together. MSM can be taken a short time after that.

Probably, the Biotin as well.

Not sure about Krill oil or Fibroboost, as they are not part of my regimen. But to be safe, I would leave several hours in between, before taking them, unless someone here can state otherwise.

As for how to take the supplements: First, put the capsule(s) in your mouth. Let it/them sit on your tongue for several seconds, then drink a half glass of something as you would normally do, without thinking about the supplement(s).
