Can an OMG laser helmet damage eyes by penetrating the skull?
I bought an OMG laser helmet a long time ago. However, I only really started using it a few months ago.
I have now started noticing weird things happening to my eye sight. I see dark patches (it looks like transparent smoke) when I move my eyes. They appear to be like the phenomenon known as: floaters.
The issue I am worried about: laser damage to the eyes is very hard to distinguish from floaters (according to an eye specialist). The thing is, if it is laser damage my eyes have suffered, I don't think this is happening from the laser externally entering into my eyes--so I am wondering if this is happening internally.
Do you think it is possible the OMG laser helmet (which is a lot more powerful than the FDA laser helmets) is penetrating my skull and damaging my eyes from the inside of my skull?

I doubt the laser is penetrating your skull. If it is throwing off a large magnetic field that might be different.

Very much doubt it. Light exposure might actually be good, although for now--all makers of these devices know they cannot make claims.
