Breast lumps, nodules
What causes breast lumps nodules?
I have read conflicting things about progesterone. Is it good for clearing nodules/lumps or does it cause it.
What supplements/approach is best to shrink such nodules?

Would be good to know what kind of progesterone (synthetic or natural).
Iodine helps with this sort of thing, but knowing about the kind of progesterone could be a big deal.

Re: Breast lumps, nodules
In the link it mentions the women were taking 50mg of Iodine.
Iodoral tablets https://a.co/d/jk8xpsR and here UK is more expensive. https://amzn.eu/d/hCpsdGL
It contains 12.5mg of total iodide with 5mg Iodine and 7.5 mg of Iodide. Not sure if the 50mg mentioned in the link is pure iodine which means it's 10 times the amount.
Then there is Detoxadine another brand in form of liquid using drops and it provides 1,950mcg per serving. Not sure how much of that would need to be taken to equate to 50mg.

I remember some time ago a 7% Lugols in the UK, maybe you can find even 15%. Liquid form is cheaper.
Or there's this, which would be preferred...for few reasons...the dosage amount in mg is lower, but it's more powerful because it doesn't require organification.

Thanks CS.
Btw, I remember reading on this forum a while back that we could have underactive thyroid, and that it can't really be detected in a thyroid test? Or that the ranges that is normally considered in hospital and clinics may not be a good indicator of what is optimal and what is not.
So here is Thyroid test results. According to the clinic is in the green range, but not sure if I can trust "their" ranges.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): 3.270 mIU/I
Free Thyroxine (FT4): 13.90 pmol/I
Free Triiodothyronine (FT3): 3.95 pmol/I
Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody (Anti-TPO): 12.4 kU/I
Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibody (Anti-Tg): 11.6 IU/ml

There's also reverse T3 and then there's clinical symptoms, so all too often symptoms are not observed enough and too much emphasis on labs.
I'm guessing that based on previous context, it was that thyroid tests are based on pituitary hormone and there is no direct thyroid test.
