I am trying the Growband
It's from here: https://www.hairguard.com
I'll let you guys know if it works
I figure that it does seem to be that the galea probably combined with skull expansion is the root cause of hair loss in that area. The hormonal component doesn't help of course.
As for the current condition of my hair... it's clinging on by its fingernails, lol. I have to use hair fibres on my crown though.
Fingers crossed, eh?

Re: I am trying the Growband
Hello Hoppi,
I have some experience with it, let me tell you my story (I guess it's what you're looking for, right ?)
3 year ago, I tried the manual grow band for 6 months, alongside scalp massage (20 min GB + 10 min DT every day) and their scalp elixir (they change the name of this stuff now). Absolutely no results, so I had a full refund (they don't do refund anymore).
16 months ago, I had kind of crash with fin/minox. I wasn't able to use it anymore (Not about sexual sides but more about heart here, even with fin). So I had to find a way to solve this AGA.
Discovered IH and tried a part of it alongside the growband (that I still have and still use).
Result ? I am using it for a year now : I am still loosing hair, but I have a very flexible scalp, more than anybody with a full head of hair and that's the most important thing here, right ?
So, if you want to try that stuff, the best Idea would be to use that : https://www.amazon.com/EMI-Thigh-Manual-Pressure-Monitor/dp/B00ELV1KOO?th=1 (a tigh blood pressure monitor -->20$ compared to the 400$ HairGuard is asking)
It will do nothing but at least you're not going to lose money (as I said, they don't propose refund anymore) AND you're going to look like a king with his crown.
Enjoy !

I think real scalp massages are probably more effective than the grow band- could be useful to use in addition though however.
The product sold by Hair Guard is grossly overpriced however. They are probably the largest YouTube channel promoting natural hair regrowth though, which is cool.

Re: I am trying the Growband
Yeah no results really yet. I dunno.
Thanks for the posts though, guys
I do think that the key to success lies in loosening that galea skin though. Maybe it's skull expansion or something doing it.
I hear that injecting botox into the galea muscles relaxes them? Which is weird because I thought it tightened skin... hm!
I'll look into it.

Yep, it's all about the hairguard marketing here. They use that study a lot.
I would really love to know if people tried to replicate that.
I really don't believe in the gallea theory anymore.
Sorry to see that it doesn't work.
