DMAE its benefits for the brain, hair and skin. But are there any risks?
Hi,
I remember reading about DMAE a long time ago. Everything about it seemed remarkable. It seems to be very good nutrient not only for the brain, but also for the skin. But after having read so much about its wonderful benefits I was put off by it, because both internally and externally it had dangers.
What put me off the most is that, even though it is said that it increased the suppleness and tightens the skin, it was said to achieve this by killing skills cells by inducing apoptosis. This really put me off because it seems like in the short term it will do wonders but perhaps in the longer term the skin will age sooner. I haven't read anything to put these concerns to rest but will welcome any comment if there is.
The other concern was for people with bipolar disoder are told to stay away from this supplement. So I haven't really been able to recommended for some people I know.
Now I am considering using it again both internally as supplements and externally as creams.
Would be nice to know any thoughts on the matter.
Kind regards,
Mike
